Will turn soil "black" but with controlled depth and minimal horizontal layering.
Will incorporate residue thoroughly for improved decomposition, nitrogen benefit and helping break disease cycles.
Will work at 10+ mph with adequate horsepower.
Will provide one pass weed suppression with small weeds and moderate populations.
Will require a minimum of 10hp per foot. More to operate at higher speeds than 10mph.
NOT GOOD FOR: Vertical tillage or hayfield renovation. Not good for working slowly. Higher speeds are necessary to work properly. Will not break hayfields or sod.
